What is the difference between NIOS Stream 1 and Stream 2 and ODES?

Dear friends,

The differences among them are mentioned below:

Stream 1: For Fresh admission students. This is further divided into Block 1 and Block 2. Block 1 Exams happen in April and Block 2 Exams happen in October.

Stream 2: It is for all those students who had appeared, but could not complete or who were eligible, but could not appear in the Public Examination of Secondary/Senior Secondary (10th and 12th) standard from any recognised Examination Board, like CBSE, ICSC, ISC or other state boards within India for those same subject.

ODES: This is On Demand Examination. You can give these kinds of Exams round the year, anytime. It's not for fresh students. If you failed in any one or more than one subject, or you want to improve your marks in any subject then you can enroll in for the NIOS ODES Exam. It is also known as Stream 3 and Stream 4.

That's all!

Thank you!
